Round, deciduous shrub, 3-4 ft in height with equal spread. Pinnately compound leaves, dark green with fine texture. Flowers are bright lavender clusters 2/4in long on branch terminals, bloom from August-November. No significant fruit.

Xeriscape plant. Can be used in informal hedge. Little to no maintenance, shearing occasionally will increase vigor.
